Elizabeth – The Upright Mother
This past Sunday for Mother’s Day we looked at Elizabeth – The Upright Mother. We sometimes think of people who are upright as being uptight, but that’s not the way the Bible sees it. According to God’s word the upright person is happy and blessed: “Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart” (Ps. 119:1–2).
