I read the link to the Obama/Dobson disagreement on interpreting Scripture, and found it reasonable and helpful. While I dislike the name of the following website, I did also find it helpful as it quotes Dr. Dobson’s critiques, then responds with direct quotes from Senator Obama’s “Call to Renewa” speech. It seemed like a fair evaluation, without being negative (other than the title), urging all Christians to be careful in our words when we publicly disagree among ourselves. The world is watching. “In the same way, let your light shine before people in such a way that they will see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matt. 5:16

I looked up the website Bethany suggested, and found it a fair, responsible and loving response to Dr. Dobson’s comments. I enjoy hearing “Focus on the Family” on Christian radio, and Dr. Dobson has done a wonderful job in helping Christian families, but it offends me to hear him put down Obama. I believe Obama to be a Christian and sincere in his faith.
