A Personal Glimpse

Ray grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ at an early age. However, it was in his teen years that he made a full commitment of his life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Ray enjoys music, reading, basketball and tennis. He plays guitar and piano and writes songs. He is an avid Star Trek fan and enjoys science fiction movies. He worked as a recording engineer in California for a number of years before God called him into full-time Christian service. Ray loves pastoring and would not trade his calling for any other job in the world.

Rose grew up the oldest child in a migrant farm family. She is Mexican-American. Her family was not Christian, and Rose came to faith in Christ in high school through the witness of a friend. Since then her mother and father and other family members have come to know the Lord through Rose’s witness and prayers. Rose graduated from Gordon College in Wenham, MA in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Language. Rose enjoys music, reading and cooking. She also plays guitar. Rose keeps busy raising our three boys and has homeschooled all three. Rose is bilingual and loves Spanish culture.

Ramón is the oldest of the three Fowler boys. He will be attending FAU Honors College in Jupiter, Florida this year where he will double-major in physics and music. He plays piano and flute and enjoys playing on worship teams and helping out with sound for churches.

Sammy is in the the eleventh grade. He enjoys music, sports and the outdoors. He plays basketball for a local school team. He also plays guitar and piano. He loves music and enjoys writing and arranging songs for the guitar. He is a member of the church youth group and has played guitar on the worship team. He has also helped with setting up and running sound.

Timothy is in the eighth grade. He enjoys science, reading, writing, drawing, badminton, and music. He likes to write stories and comic books. He also likes to compose music on the computer. He loves to laugh and make jokes. He is always fascinated about how things work. We think he will be an engineer or maybe a scientist when he grows up.
