Sharon - Yes, we commented after the film that Susan was like a female Legolas in this movie. (Note: Legolas is the arrow shooting elf from Lord of the Rings for anyone who does not know.)

i finally saw Prince Caspian. I thought that the movie itself was a better quality than The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The trees, dryads, water god were wonderful. Aslan truly did seem bigger to me in this one, too! The mice and the badger seemed more "real" than the beavers did in the first one. Great improvements there! What I did not like was the way they had Susan and other women in the battles. C.S.Lewis would not have approved. He saw women as lovely and wise and equally good - but different. One of the differences was, women were not to fight in battles. Why on earth did they change that????? At least Aslan still got respect and honor. That was great. I look forward to the next one. :)

Hi Rachael! - I am glad you enjoyed it. I don't know which I liked better (Wardrobe or Caspian) - they were both great!

I saw it Friday night. I liked it a lot! I still think I like "Wardrobe" better though. I think I felt like Lucy and wanted Aslan to "come roaring in and save the day" But I think they did a good job and can't wait for the next one.

Hi Bethany! Yes, we saw it at the Friday matinee. We all enjoyed it thoroughly. I thought it was a great follow-up to the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

It's here! My daughter Meredith went to the midnight show this a.m. (12:01a.m. showtime). Then my son Jack and I went for the first show at "normal" hours - 12:00 this afternoon. We nearly had the theater to ourselves, and was hoping for a private screening, but a few folks wandered in to join us. The midnight show was much more crowded and I assume a lot of people will get there this weekend. Hoping for a good box office!

I still liked "Wardrobe" a little better, but my son liked "Caspian" better. Looking forward to hearing others' impressions.
