His music kept me from dying so many times as I was crucified with Christ. His work was a gift from God. And now He has taken back one of his loveliest. I shall grieve for years to come. Not mourn without hope, but I shall mourn. We shall carry on. May the Spirit sustain us; none else will.

Phil - I visited your site and read your post. Interesting stuff! I love the Arthur Blessit story. I once spent a summer doing street witnessing in Salem, MA and have fond memories of those experiences.

Ray - Actually, "Thief in the Night" was probably my first introduction to Larry also, but it wasn't until later that I discovered him through his albums.

I was in my Navy tech school in memphis tennn when I was invited to see a christian movie. The movie was " a theif in the night" and I heard the song "I wish we all been ready". God's choir in heaven has gotten a wonderful new edition. Larry's ministry has touched so many around the world---he will be missed- rest well soilger.

I found your site today through a post a Monday Morning Insight about Larry Norman's passing. It brought back memories that I put in my blog today. Thanks for your site. I like your concept to share "life" which is all a gift from God.

Way back in 1984 a friend of mine invited me to see Larry in concert. The concert was held in Pasadena TX and I was 14. After the concert and without my knowledge my friend (Mitch) asked Larry to talk with me and pray for the Spirit to baptize me. Of course Larry came over to me and did just what Mitch asked of him. It was an unforgettable experience and since then I have always enjoyed sharing that story with people.

Larry was such an electric person and he was filled and overflowed with the Spirit. It always excited me knowing that a warrior like Larry was out there somewhere impacting lives on a daily basis.

Praise to God for people like Larry, he will be missed and I look forward to meeting him again in the near future.

God Bless, David
